I wanted to know if it was possible that the Renaissance Painters used a camera
obscura to achieve realistic perspective. I built a camera obscura, which is
an optical device that projects an image onto a 2-D surface. I wanted to see
if, as an artist, I could achieve better perspective, easier, by using the camera
obscura while building it out of materials that would have been available to
painters during the Renaissance.
